PTA AGM
The AGM is on Thursday 13th September at 2.30pm in the school library - all are welcome. Our thanks to the present committee for all their hard work throughout the year, especially for money raised towards the outside classroom and other resources for the school. Back to topSwimming Lessons
Lessons for the Lower School begin on Wednesday 12 September (p.m.) and finish on 6th February (half of the school year). Upper School swimming begins on Wednesday 20th February. Please forward a donation of £22.00 for the year (or in two installments, 2nd payment after half-term) - cheques payable to St Thomas' Junior School.A reminder that all children have to wear a swimming hat, available from the school office, price £1.00.
Please contact your child's teacher if you are able to help with walking to the pool and with changing. Back to top
Harvest Festival
Our harvest gifts will be to Marillac Nursing Home, run by the Sisters of Charity for severely disabled young adults. We will be asking the children to bring one item of non-perishable food (such as tinned food, tea, coffee, jam etc) or toiletries one or two days before the Eucharist on 5th October (St. Thomas' Church). All lost property is kept in Room 15 under the supervision of Mrs Lawrence (School office). Please look in the room if your son/daughter has lost property, especially school uniform. Back to topPrayer Time

There will be an opportunity to speak to your child's teacher(s) on Wednesday 17th Ocotber and Thursday 18 October (4.30 - 7.30pm) in the Hall. If your child is taught by a different teacher for English and Maths (your son/daughter will tell you), they will also be available. Appointment times will be during half-hour periods, with parents first in the queue seeing the teacher.We would appreciate you not bringing your children into school on these occasions.
